I attended a three-day Energy Conference at the Hyatt Hotel a few weeks ago. I am fortunate to live in a country where the energy sector is the most predominant, and this sector brings tremendous revenue to our country. So, at this conference, there were local and international companies from all over the world. It was definitely a place to meet and greet others and establish yourself.
While walking around the conference, individuals I knew pulled me to talk and introduced me to their organization’s team members. They would say, “Dane, let me introduce you to my CEO, Mr. John Doe,” and this is how it went for the entire day. The primary purpose of almost every introduction or every other was to ensure I met the main person from their company or learned about their company. The objective was to make introductions and connections.
Expanding on that backdrop, I visualized myself in a big conference room—the conference room of Life. I pictured myself standing there and speaking to people as they passed by—my family, my coworkers, strangers as I commute, random people who come into my life. Then I asked myself, “Dane, are you standing with your call card at the ready to hand them out?” Am I standing and eagerly attempting to introduce them to my Heavenly Father? I thought about it long and hard, and the answer I got was No!
Just as how they had great companies at the Energy Conference, I have a great God (CEO) who rules and oversees a great kingdom (Company). So why am I not handing out call cards and broadcasting my Company? Is it I am ashamed, is it I am not knowledgeable in God’s word enough to share, is it I am fearful, is it I still have things in my life to give up so I feel inadequate to speak about God, is it I don’t see the importance of proclaiming the gospel? I am sure that each of you can add a reason to this list.
Let me share what I have learned from my Christian walk: “How you know your God, is how you will make Him known.” If you know God personally, deeply, and passionately, then that is how you will share Him. If you know Him the opposite, then that is how you will also share Him. It was like so many people at the Energy and other conferences in general. Because they are knowledgeable, care about, and love their companies, they share them with all their heart to benefit the organization. They can’t help but do it that way. What is on the inside is clearly shown on the outside. It is like when someone is in love; they can’t help but express it outwardly for all to see.
While at conferences, we mere mortals love to connect with others who can bring us value and betterment, Jesus was not so. He is not connecting with you for what He can get from you, He is connecting with you for what He can give you. When Jesus was on earth, He went out of His way to meet with the lowly, the poor, those rejected by society, and those in need of a physician. He did not hide at all; wherever He went, He said in words and actions, “Let me introduce you to the Father.” Jesus knew God, so He was making Him known, and He made Him known to everyone regardless of societal status.
My friends, this is a shorter-than-normal blog today, which was deliverable. I want us to hone in and meditate on the core topic, for it is crucial. I would like us to think, “Does this person know my Father?” at every engagement or encounter with others. If you perceive or find out that they don’t, then let your actions or direct speech, introduce them to your Father because their life depends on it.
PS: Dane Miller was last seen at a printery getting some new call cards. Rumour has it that the new ones were much better than the old ones.

This is so true. Excellent reminder brother. Do we re-present Christ to the earth in our every day actions and operations? Do we have a word in season and out of season? For the most, truly we can say the answer is NO which is a sad reality.
This blog reminds me of when Jesus said when you see Me, you see my Father. There must be no distinction between us an our heavenly Father. Our lives must give people a direct access/reference point to Abba.
Holy Spirit help us 🙏
Love and Blessings brother. Excellent word.
Potts.

God has commissioned every single one of us to preach the gospel wholeheartedly and live the gospel faithfully as if the world will end tomorrow. We are to look at the world through eyes of compassion and treat the unbelievers as lost, never relenting in our mission to make sure that as many people receive salvation as possible. There is a heaven to gain and a hell to spurn. We need to let the love in our hearts compel us to pray for and preach/witness to every single person on the earth who is yet to receive Christ.

This is so true; quite a wake up call to us all. All that we as humans take for granted.
Now more than ever is the best time for us to tell people about our Father, the CEO of the kingdom.
Thanks for sharing.

Father, thanks for reminding us through this blog, as to our real mission. Thank You for blessing my life in so many ways. Please help me to faithfully share your words with all individuals that I come into contact with, as your Holy Spirit leads. Help me to use of the resources that You have given me to bless others. Open my eyes to the needy and those in spiritual darkness around me so that I may address their physical and spiritual needs, as you see fit. Use me to share Your love, for the sake of Your kingdom and the glory of Your name. In Jesus’ name, amen.
